During Covid19, some people, especially wealthy people are saving even more than usual. Save Give is a simple tool that will allow people to identify the amount of money they can give, thanks to unique savings, and understanding of how privileged they are.
How can we get this result?
We have analysed a number of costs on normal life in France. Everything from the average household size, grocery spending to the frequency of going to the cinema. These come from a number of sources such as governments, market research and user-contributed data projects. From this, we have created thresholds of usual spending, relative to your income. Our calculations are adjusted to include transport savings, increased confinement grocery spending, and additional entertainment, based on your household situation.
